Poem: FROZEN
Extremely cold and does not easily melt, Burns through the skin like fire, Even though there is no heat, There is no way you touch, Without getting wet, Don’t hold for too long, Or you might lose it, Though it is frozen just like ice Alas! It is not ice, Even though we do not See it with our eyes Only the beats are heard By our ears We feel it in our earth For it is our hearts. Water was not meant To be ice Free in nature It was supposed to flow But now as if bound by chains It flows nowhere Why? Due to man’s covetousness A frozen heart did not just freeze Whatever happened had a reason
