FLYING MAMMALS

Hardly does one come to OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY and not notice a particular feature, the flying mammals.
Consistently with the superstitions flying around, their very presence is a testament to the principalities and pololiers that hold sway in Ile-Ife, the home of Yoruba civilization and the world at large.

Invading our sacred skies

Before our every eyes  

The flying mammals take over 

While we run for cover

As we settle ourselves in dry land concert

On our heads they mindlessly excrete

To make up for LIADEQUECIES 

Some cook up outrageous conspiracies, 

Ascribing to them despicable epithets

Bringing them down with guns and bayonets 


But they, however remain undaunted,

Their hunters now being handled

Seemingly and openly declaring “you can’t stop us”

We remain the kings of this campus

Well, there we are, we have accepted you as kings, we can only hope that Kingdom of heaven comes 

soon enough, seems it is the only libration. “Let thy kingdom come OH LORD!!!

   In exercise of the powers conferred by the Constitution of the Nigerian Universities Nursing Students’ Association, the NUNSA Electoral Committee (NEC) herein referred to as “NUNSA Electoral Board” issues the following Regulations and Guidelines for the conduct of Elections (General Elections, Bye-elections). These regulations and guidelines are issued as a Decision Extract of the Committee of the 29th day of the month of October 2019.
