NUNSA OAU APPOINTS NEW EDITOR IN CHIEF
The executives of the Nigerian Universities Nursing Students’ Association, OAU chapter appoints Odili Chinonye Peace, a part 4 nursing student as the new editor in chief of the Nurses plus (the editorial arm of the association). Odili is the longest serving member of nurses plus and a pioneer member of nursing community service initiative (CSI) she has been a member since her first year on campus hence loaded with experience. Her responsibility as the editor in chief is to coordinate the activities of nurses plus and ensure that quarterly newsletter is published.

​The Mace is the symbol of the authority of the House. At the beginning and end of the sitting - the Speaker is preceded by the Mace, which is carried by the Serjeant-at-arms on his right shoulder. When the Speaker is in the Chair, that is, when the House is sitting as a House, the Mace lies on the Table of the House, resting in the upper brackets. When the House sits as a committee, that is, when the Speaker leaves the Chair, the Mace is removed into the lower brackets beneath the Table. AWARENESS On Monday, 16 th November, 2015, students of the prestigious department turned out massively to let the whole campus know about NUNSA week. Decked in their colourful jerseys, nursing students from every level in the hostel trouped from hostel to hostel amidst much dancing, singing spreading the message of the arrival of the much anticipated NUNSA week. PART TIME CLASS FACELIFT As part of the NUNSA week, the executives of NUNSA OAU and students of the department painted the part time room as a contribution to the department.
