BEAUTY: MORE OF FASCIAL THAN FACIAL

According to anatomy, fascia is a strong layer of connective tissues under the skin covering and investing all muscles; well in this context, it is figuratively used to express INDICATE internal expression. Facial as well is also used to signify superficial, external features.

Beauty, according to the English Dictionary is the property, quality or state of being that which is attractive, pleasing, fine or good looking; comeliness. To a certain set of people, beauty is all about the persons natural assets-the well-set-cheek bones, the full lips, the long hair, full eyebrows, white teeth , long eyelashes, to mention but a few. Others, it may be the bronzed face, drawn eyelashes, pouty pink lips, highlighted cheeks.....everything that entails makeup. Then to some, the “to match”, ‘Miss World’, ‘slay queen’ dressing are all that applies to beauty but then , in my honest view it goes deeper than that, yea, beyond the skin.

To be crystal, I’m not of the view that the outward beauty isn’t beauty at all but then, it is more than that. Let’s bring it to our normal lives, we’ve all at one point or the other seen or met with this Venus lady who’s turning the head of all male folks and intimidating other ladies around, but just then you look around and it seems like you’re the only one worshipping her. Why? People wrinkle their nose at her loud noise sansy remarks about every little thing, and you hear comments like “she’s a snob”.... or have you ever come about this living statue of Adonis and its like guys really hold their girls tight or they’re likely to walk into a moving trunk cause “heavens! This guy is hot!!! “but wait a minute, you mention him to a friend and she’s like “gosh, he’s way too cocky” Yea, that’s what I’m talking about. With all these instances it means that at times that kind of beauty is just not enough.

We see Miss Universe material still unengaged  at ages way too spinsterhood and hot guys drowning into the darkness of dugs, drinks and depression for loneliness and the question keeps popping like a outrageous volcano, “Why?”

Well, there you have it; a good character is all that is needed. Tell you, it’s been a saving grace to the less attractive ones and an added benefit to the already gorgeous ones. It’s all about little simple things like a sweet smile, a polite apology, a cheery greeting, a little patience, a more tolerance, a bit of discretion to mention a few.....all this all coming from the inside moulding out the real you, the person people want to know and I promise you that life would fall back into nice places and sweet graces.

Just before my ink rests from flowing, I’ve got this personal quote for y’all all.
‘Beauty without character is like writing English Alphabet without the letter C. it ain’t complete”
