​The Mace is the symbol of the authority of the House. At the beginning and end of the sitting - the Speaker is preceded by the Mace, which is carried by the Serjeant-at-arms on his right shoulder. When the Speaker is in the Chair, that is, when the House is sitting as a House, the Mace lies on the Table of the House, resting in the upper brackets. AWARENESS On Monday, 16 th November, 2015, students of the prestigious department turned out massively to let the whole campus know about NUNSA week. Decked in their colourful jerseys, nursing students from every level in the hostel trouped from hostel to hostel amidst much dancing, singing spreading the message of the arrival of the much anticipated NUNSA week. PART TIME CLASS FACELIFT As part of the NUNSA week, the executives of NUNSA OAU and students of the department painted the part time room as a contribution to the department.
